EG&G voices, a senator, and a Nazi/Soviet glider rewrite
Hume's reading of a well-known EG&G cluster: Al O'Donnell's account as given to George Knapp versus the later Jacobson version. He thinks the change — toward a Nazi/Soviet glider — happened because congressional investigator Alfonse D'Amato spoke with Herb Grier. Zavattaro would not touch the O'Donnell Roswell question. Hume predicts 'progeria & nazi ufos' as the durable cover.

Why the story change? idk but Imo it was due to D'amto (congressional investigator) getting involved & he spoke with Herb Grier (EG&G)
