File
CAA / UKAB radar — RAF Lakenheath NPAS incident
UK Civil Aviation Authority / UKAB · 2024 / requested 2025–26
Partial release; tapes exempt as proprietary
Request
ALL radar data for the NPAS Lakenheath 'drone' incident, including both F-15s.
Outcome
CAA/UKAB confirmed a second F-15 in the vicinity but released data on only one because it was the AIRPROX-relevant track. Hume: they did not answer the request for ALL. Internal review: radar tapes are proprietary data and therefore exempt; they at least admitted they had not answered what was asked. Hume planned to try NATS and push CAA again.
The radar-side counterpart to the muted NPAS video — a second F-15 exists on paper.
