MOD FOI on Havana Syndrome, 2024, forwarded to DSTL. After a 'too vague' reply pointing at a public debunking paper, Hume persisted until a release.

Outcome

Four-page 2021 Cognitive Warfare report, MOD-funded, discussing RF/acoustics, directed-energy weapons and chemical explanations, with recommendations for further work. Authored under FTUD S&T (Future Threat Understanding and Disruption). Hume believes this is not DSTL's entire holding.

As far as Hume knows, still the only UK government documents ever released on HS/AHI. Three MSM outlets declined to publish. He notes DSTL knew this paper existed in 2024 when they instead sent a debunk link.

I originally asked MOD about Havana syndrome in 2024. They forwarded my request to DSTL & on 8th May 2024 they said my request was to vague but under advice and assistance directed me to a debunking paper.
