FBI investigation of mystery drones/UAVs over Clinton NPP, Illinois, 2018. Initially no records; Hume appealed with an NRC document naming the FBI.

Outcome

File released after appeal, later a printout addendum. Witness statements, IDNR launch-site map (no vehicle found), 3–5 objects with one hovering ~1 hour, Air Police late, National Guard Doppler insignificant. Two possible operators dismissed; another lead fully redacted. Assessment: named group/individuals 'does not warrant further investigation' — names redacted. Closed at NRC but unresolved. Mentions a related 2017/18 California plant (Hume thinks Diablo Canyon). No photographs captured.

Pre-dates the 2019 Navy UAP videos. Hume will share the full file with researchers on request.
