NSA blanket Glomar on UFO intelligence files
National Security Agency · 2023–2026
Glomar / NCND on intelligence files
Request
NSA intelligence holdings on UFOs, including historic 1960s–70s material. Hume says the agency told him in 2023 that all such requests would be met with neither-confirm-nor-deny.
Outcome
Standing NCND. Hume notes you can ask for files dating to the 1960s–70s and still get the same response. He emailed Clapper and Mike Rogers about a claimed DNI-ordered review of NSA UFO holdings; neither replied.
The default NSA posture Hume treats as the reason those files never appear in PURSUE-style dumps.
